Set list at The Boot open mic

After a relentless, blazing hot day, I didn't really fancy open mic, but then I picked up my guitar to play a bit and thought "you know what?"

I'm glad I did. We were outside at The Boot, which made it a much more relaxed atmosphere.

I felt like doing covers, so I played:

• Going Down To Laurel
• Simple Twist Of Fate
• Pancho And Lefty
• Positively Fourth Street
• I Was In The House When The House Burned Down
• Heidi

(Sorry, I'm not finding alternative videos for all of those.)

I wasn't planning to play Heidi, but I had a chance for an extra song and I though it was a nice one to throw in. It was beautiful, and you could have heard a pin drop.

It was the sort of evening where you feel like you're in a community. Some days that's what I need.
